Little Bee demonstrates high standards of service for children and their families.

We promote motivated, independent learners by providing safe, high quality early education and nurturing child care.

 

Little Bee makes positive contributions to all children's early development by taking their learning forward, celebrating uniqueness and providing opportunities to succeed in an atmosphere of care while feeling valued.

 

Little Bee has two purposefully designed centres which suit the need of long day care and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum for children aged 2 yrs - 5 yrs (Howrah) and 6 weeks - 5 years of age (Airport).

About us

Little Bee consists of two engaging and exciting Early Years Learning and Care facilities, located in Clarence St, Howrah and at Llanherne Drive, Cambridge.

Services

At Little Bee we provide a friendly comfortable and homely environment for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years at two convenient locations.

We recognise and honour the Traditional Custodians of the lands, skies, waterways, and seas on which we gather today, and acknowledge their continuing connection to Country, culture, community, and story. We pay our deepest respects to Elders, past and present, who hold the memories, wisdom, traditions, and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

 

For over 40,000 years, the Mumirimina people walked and cared for the land where we live and learn. As the first educators, they teach through the rhythm of the seasons an education grounded in rich coastal resources, relationships and connection to Country.  Through ceremony, storytelling, songlines, and shared experiences within community life, the knowledge and values were passed through generations with deep respect and intention.

 

At Little Bee, we are inspired by these ways of learning and being. Our children learn through belonging - to family, to community, to culture, and to place and we recognise the important role educators hold in guiding children’s sense of identity and wellbeing.
